Release your Brillance
Release your Brilliance. This author and book were referred to me by a friend. The author uses a diamond metaphor throughout the book to share his gems on how others can unleash and reach their brilliance and potential. This was an easy read and it offered useful tips and exercises at the end of each chapter for the reader.
One of the things that stood out to me from the book was the acronym for fear: False evidence appearing real. As the author, Simon Bailey shares, “The words you use determine your beliefs. Your beliefs lead to decisions. Your decisions produce results.” How might a coach help you to explore and challenge some of the internal language you use which contributes to your results?
As a HR professional, I agree with the author regarding the various requirements of the future workplace. He mentioned: taking responsibility, remaining nimble, keeping a great attitude, and constantly learning new skills.
I would recommend this book for anyone who doubts his/her brilliance, loves to read and gain enhanced insight, and is open to exploring new possibilities for different results.
As Simon states, “Each of us is like a diamond, and each of us has the potential to be brilliant.” Please contact me if you would like to explore your goals and support you as you take actions to achieve your brilliance.
- “It has been a true pleasure and enlightening experience for me to have had the opportunity to work with Mrs. Cartwright, and I would not hesitate to endorse her accomplishments & abilities. She would be a definite asset to any organization.”Carol Bartoschek, RDH, CHPD,
